Three Bright Layouts To Share
By Di Garling

"Sweet Girl"

Hello there, thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have three rather bright layouts to share with you,
& naturally they all feature lots of Green Tara goodness.

On this layout I have used some 6cm petals in daffodil yellow as
the main feature in my cluster. I actually created this flower
by layering two 6cm petals in daffodil yellow on top of
each other & next I harvested this great "middle" out of yet another
Green Tara flower, & that was an "Aster-Batik".
So by combining the two together a new flower evolved.

I have also added a bow made from their gorgeous
"Spotted Organza Ribbon" in aqua as well as a
couple of their "Skeleton Leaves" too.

In this pic you can see  I have also added some lovely bright
orange "chrysanthemums" as well, & I have sprayed one of the
NEW "Azelea" flowers with some aqua Dylusions spray to
make it just the right colour I was after.
It is so easy to colour these flowers.

I finished off with some yellow & orange
"Roses" & some gold "mini flowers".

I have also added a strip of one of the NEW Green Tara
"Washi Tapes" to the bottom corner of my layout.

"Beautiful Girl"

In this super bright layout  I have used two of the NEW Green Tara
"Washi Tapes" on both the top & bottom of my page.

I have also sewn on some
"Double Sided Reversible Spot Ribbon" in pink/orange.
I love this ribbon & it is available in some great colour combos too.

I have used Dylusions sprays to create my background & while
I had them out I decided to spray some of my Green Tara
flowers to match.
Here you can see an "Azelea" flower, some various "Roses"
& "Rosebuds" & a few "Velvet Leaves".

In this pic I have used another "Azelea"  a "Tutu" & "Roses"
all of  which I have sprayed with Dylusions.

"These are the Days"

You may have seen this layout recently. I was a guest designer
over at CSI a few weeks ago & this was one of my layouts.

Naturally I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara flowers
including the "Tutu" teamed here with some "Roses".

Here you can see another "Azelea" flower which I have again
sprayed with some Glimmermist & then teamed it with a
"Sakura" flower & some more "Roses".
Green Tara have so many different coloured flowers & roses
to choose from, we really are spoilt for choice.

All of the chipboard I have used in all of these layouts
is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Until next time,
Cheers Di  xo

Mixed Media Creations by Mistra Hoolahan

Hi everyone!  Today I have some mixed media pieces to share with you... I created these while in Mackay with my friend Michelle, it was such fun to draw on each others creativity again.

Art Washes from the Soul...

I haven't used masses of Green Tara flowers on this one, I preferred the lovely simplicity of just using a few... and allowing the wonderfully earthy Natural Jute Ribbon to feature.  This ribbon is one of my faces, it's versatile and holds it shape well.

This time I experimented with it, to see what else it could handle.  One bow was added before I sprayed all the colour and it held the colour well.  Then I hit it with the heat gun.  The fibres are held together with the finest synthetic threads, which melted, creating a fabulous effect - lots of fun.

I have used white Cherry Blossoms and Roses for this one, tucking a few on small clusters here and there.

Some of the flowers were added before the final colour spray, which has given them a slightly antiqued look.  A few others were added once the canvas was finished to give a pop of fresh white.

__________________________________________________

Here's the other one, I was challenged to create something on a wood base, which was fun!

Doesn't Have to be Perfect
The background was created with many layers of corrugated board, patterned papers, tissue paper, doilies and whatever other bits and pieces that were handy.  This was covered with a thin layer of texture paste to help smooth all the layers.  The chipboard {aside from the dress forme} was added raw, along with some muslin and then sprayed with layers of colour sprays.  Once dried it was accented with inka-gold rub, the title added and then more colour added.

The dress forme was painted white and then 'dressed' with one of my ruffles. Then if was time for the the really fun part... adding a spray of flowers to accent the dress forme.  Adding flowers is always the fun part!!

I have used mostly white flowers, withe one peach one to tie it in with the background.

The flat white petals made a beautiful backdrop for the dress form, helping it not blend in too much with the complex background.  Using clusters of Primulas, Cherry Blossoms and Roses helps continue the flow, embracing the Camellia nestled among them.

And before I leave you today, I have a sweet layout of my neice to share with you.  I created this a little while ago for a challenge blog, and couldn't resist adding a whole pile of Green Tara deliciousness!

Thanks for stopping by today!  See you again next month...

Three layouts by Marie-Josée Hamel

Hello, Green Tara fans!

Today, I am featuring three new layouts that I created especially for Green Tara. Without further ado, here they are!

"Fun" layout

Once again, on this layout, I used my favorite new Green Tara flowers, the Azaleas! I love the colors available and the style of these gorgeous flowers. I am a huge fan of purple, so these are a go-to embellishment when I create a purple layout.

I combined them with mini-roses and skeleton leaves, and I also used an Organza & Pearl flower on the left side of the page.

Here's a close-up view of one of those beautiful Azalea flowers.

Green Tara products used:
 5cm Azaleas
Organza and Pearl in Pale Pink
1.5 cm Roses in Pale Pink
1 cm Roses in Pale Pink
Skeleton Leaves in Natural

Untitled layout

For this layout, I used a patterned background as well as black gesso that I applied with a credit card to add dimension and contrast.

Sometimes I like to create two clusters on a layout, as I did in this case. At the top, you can see a small cluster, made only with flowers (Heirloom, Hibiscus and Roses).

At the botton, I used two different kinds of ribbon (Crushed Organza and Jute) to create bows and I glued them together. I then added a big flower on top and scattered a few black roses below.

"Days like these..." layout

For this layout, I chose to go with the clean and simple look: big title, big flower, and a few details!

Here's a close-up view of the flower cluster. The plastic leaves are from my own stash and are not a scrapbooking product. :)

"Remember"

Hello Green Tara friends!!
This is a layout I made about my grandmother and great-grandmother!!
The base is chipboard so I could easily play around with mixed media
techniques, misting, stamping, heat embossing!!! Here in Greece, fall is
coming so I have used fall colors!!!

For my main cluster I have used the beautiful Heirloom,
a yellow rose, a few cherry blossoms, a rosette, loop trim,
natural jute and a white azalea!!

In this close up you can see a small brown rose and the
gorgeous bud & bow in brown/ivory!

And a smaller cluster with roses, cherry blossom, a brown leaf,
white paper flower, loop trim and burlap!!

the middle which I have sprayed and stamped on! In the center I have
placed a beautiful pincushion in yellow! You can also see a smaller
paper flower cut in two pieces, cherry blossoms and lace!!

Satin Rosette flowers with a few small Roses.

A Gardenia in purple. I also used the stems of the roses that I
cut off and twirled them around a small paint brush to create small
