"Sunset" by Mistra Hoolahan

I decided to try something a little different for me... keeping it simple and leaving some white space!  For me this was not as easy as it looks... but I wanted to really show off these gorgeous Green Tara flowers and felt this was the way to do it!

I sprayed the background with some Smooch Spritz, the Candleglow and Mixed Berries were the perfect match for Green Tara's Lavender Velvet Rose & Ivory Gardenias.

I sprayed the Green Tara lace {this is one of my FAVE laces} with Candleglow Smooch Spritz so it stood out from the white background. Green Tara lace always holds colour mists so well.

I love the size of the Velvet Rose, they are simply stunning.

The chipboard was simply sprayed with Black Velvet Smooch Spritz and once dried with Mixed Berries Smooch Spritz... the glimmer pools on the black background leaving a mottled effect.

I love the 'messy' look of the Gardenia's... it gives them that natural look and offsets the perfection of the Roses.

I've popped in some of the new Purple Velvet Leaves, adding leaves to your flower clusters helps them blend well together.

Lastly I added a whole pile of stitching to the border.  It took ages and halfway through I was saying
"what was I thinking"... but it looks so effective I know that I'll use this stitch again!!

I hope you find some inspiration from my layout today... it's simple and spacious,
but I still got all my favourite elements happening!!

A Couple of Layouts to Share
by Di Garling

Hello everyone, thank for calling by today. I just wanted to share a couple of layouts I did recently,
using lots of Green Tara flowers.
The first one is called "Beauty".

In the middle of my main cluster I have used three different Green Tara fabric flowers from their newest range. The middle Ivory  one is called "Damask", the Ivory one on the left is called "Heirloom" & the Ivory one on the right is called "Sakura". I have teamed these with a Red "Gardenia" & some  of their beautiful little Roses.

I've created some nice textures on my background using some
mediums  & various coloured  mists. All of my chipboard is from

At my little shop, Di's Scrapbooks at The Entrance NSW we stock loads & loads of these
& most Green Tara goodies.
So if you are a local, make sure you pop in & see them all up close.

Magical Memories

Here is yet another layout where I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara goodies.
All of these flowers are all from Green Taraof course
The big turquoise flower is one of their new "Camelias" I love this flower,
I think it makes quite an impact.
I have also used one of their "Self Adhesive Flower Garland" trims. This was Ivory & simply misted it Aqua to match my layout. The best thing about this trim is that it self adhesive. Too easy.

In this close up of my flower cluster you will see the
 pink "Flower Sprays".
Now I have to say these are one of my all time favourites. They come three in a pack & they are just a little straight flower stem BUT I twist them around a skewer or an awl or whatever else you have on hand & they are instantly transformed into a delightful natural looking flower spray.

All of my chipboard on my layout is from 2 Crafty Chipboard of course, & I have simply painted it all black to contrast with all the lovely bright colours of the Green Tara flowers.
To finish off my page I have used various other
Green Tara Roses, Daisies, Petals & Skeleton Leaves.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
Cheers Di  xo

A Walk Down Memory Lane
by Jan Rankine

Today I would like to share with you a canvas I have been working on.  Just to make it a little bit more "artistic" I've used two canvases. As you can see I have stuck one on top of the other to create added dimension & interest.

I played around with some paint techniques on the front canvas and then added some stamping .

The beautiful Velvet Rose and Heirloom Green Tara flowers are a feature all on their own but of course that isn't enough for me so I just had to add some Gardenias and Roses

Green Velvet Leaves and  some Swarovski Crystal flowers added the finishing touches.

I have used a 2 Crafty chipboard Quote & Flourish Heart to complete my layout.
I love this little flourish. The perfect piece for my theme & I think the "Walk Down Memory Lane" was the icing on the cake.

"Live in Colour" Card Set
By Vicky Alberto

Here is a fun little card set I made with the brand new whimsical paper line "Live in Color" by Susan Weckesser. I had so much fun designing with a paper style that I don't usually gravitate towards but the colors and sentiments are just so very sweet. I even managed to take these fun papers and turn my cards into a shabby chic style after all. Green Tara embellishments were a perfect touch to add to the sweetness of this paper line and an easy way to put my shabby spin on this collection. I used some of my favorite paper flowers as well as some brand new trims. Please note that these projects were inspired by the Helmar August challenge.

Floral Headband By JJ Sobey

Today I wanted to share a tutorial for a floral headband, featuring flowers and trims from Green Tara.
I started with a simple plastic headband:

First, I adhered 15mm Double Sided Satin Ribbon to the outside.

The edges will stick out a bit, but that's OK...Because the next step is to wrap the entire headband with 9mm Satin Edged Organza.  It will hold the previous ribbon's edges exactly where you want them, while creating a pretty stripe.  I tucked under the ends and glued.

Next, you can start decorating with pretty flowers and embellishments. Glue everything with             your  favourite  liquid adhesive (I used 450 Quick Dry). I started with this 8cm Velvet Rose:

The next thing  I added was a Sakura Flower.

Next, a few smaller flowers, such as these 3cm Organza Pearl Flowers:

Then finish it off with some leaves or greenery.  I chose to cut apart one of the 21cm Silver/Acrylic/Spray - Flowers and Leaves. You can use one of the leaves here:

And in this shot you can see more of the beaded part from the spray:

I hope you'll take a peek through your favorite Green Tara flowers and trims and give this a try.  Post a link on our Facebook page if you do - we would love to see it!"

"Moments" By Tina Dalton

I got together with a few friends for a crop the other night and put this
layout together, I am lucky to have such a great group of friends and we
love to get together and inspire each other.

I have used the Graphic 45 papers " Ladies Diary" and of course a few of my
favourite Green Tara flowers.

I just love how you can use the Flower Sprays  to add that special touch to a cluster or just use them on their own, or entwine them through a piece of chipboard, however you use them they are very sweet.

The cherub is a mould from "Moulds by Mel" & the clock is from "Dusty Attic".

Thanks for calling by. Until next time.
Tina

"My Girl"
By Guest Designer
Heather Jacob

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by. Today I have a layout to show you that I have created using some beautiful
Green Tara flowers.
This large organza "Damask" flower stands alone as a feature. The white & blue Imaginarium Designs chipboard compliments the elegance of this delicious flower. I have actually separated the bottom layer of this flower because I wanted a smaller version in this space &  I will use this leftover piece on another project.

This is such a beautiful flower.

I have framed the photo with a compact cluster of beautiful Green Tara  Ivory Roses, tucking some little Green Tara copper coloured Leaves randomly around the edge for a dramatic effect.
I have also added some of their sweet littler
Flower Sprays  too.

I have also dabbed some Rusty Hinge Distress Ink on a couple of Roses to create a little definition.

Monochromatic soft pastel hues with a kiss of colour (Copper Leaves) always appeals to me, & I feel it compliments the photo perfectly. I adore the way the leaves are wired, as this allows me to bend/twist/fold them to which ever way I desire.

This simple background is created with a clock mask, inked with a blue Versa Colour, machine stitching around the border & a small amount of doodling.

I hope I have inspired you to play along with your own cluster of GREEN TARA flowers.

Hugz from Heather x

"Sugar" By Mistra Hoolahan

Hi everyone!  I have this layout of our little kitty cat to share with you today.  She rules the house this one, but she's just so cute that we don't mind being owned by her LOL.

I have used lots of Green Tara goodies on this one, the peach tones and white elements complimented the papers by Donna Salazar beautifully.

These Apple Blossoms, Heirloom Fabric Flowers, Gardenias and Roses all work so well together.

The new velvet leaves add a beautiful softening touch.

Some Dusty Attic chipboard coloured to match the flowers.  The chipboard was painted warm white and spritzed with Holly Berries, TeaParty and Pralines and Cream Smooch Spritz and then once dried embossed with UTEE and sprinkled with Fairy Dust Glitter.

Green Tara Lace is always fabulous to add a soft feminine touch to your pages.  I have used 2 different kinds here and tucked them under the paper edges.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time, take care and be true to you,

Mistra
